The nashir Skill teaches Claude how to run your channels through the nashir connector the way an experienced social-media manager would: it asks you one question instead of four, drafts captions in your language, respects each platform's limits, previews every action before it runs, and reports results in the connector's own words. It is optional — the connector works without it — but it makes the everyday flows much shorter.
Before you start
- Connect nashir to Claude first (the connector is what gives Claude the tools).
- Any Claude plan works. Custom skills are installed per user; on Team and Enterprise plans an owner can install it once for everyone.
- Skills need Claude's "code execution and file creation" setting turned on (Settings → Capabilities).
Install in four steps
- Download the skill: nashir-skill-latest.zip (current version 1.0.0).
- In Claude, open Settings → Customize → Skills, then + → Upload a skill.
- Choose the ZIP you downloaded. Claude shows a skill named nashir; make sure it is switched on.
- Start a new chat and try: "post these photos to Facebook and Instagram" — Claude opens the nashir upload panel, then asks you a single question with a drafted caption, the platforms and a proposed time.
What changes with the skill
- Posting photos or a video from your phone: the upload panel opens inside the chat; after you press Continue, Claude drafts the caption, picks the platforms you named (or all your connected Facebook and Instagram accounts) and proposes a time based on your best-performing hours — all in one message. You approve or adjust, Claude previews, then schedules.
- Content plans: ask for a week of posts; Claude drafts the whole plan once, you approve once, and it schedules them in order and lists the post ids.
- WhatsApp: 1:1 messages, template creation with Meta approval tracking, and broadcasts that read back the recipient count, template status and opt-in figures before you confirm — and the true delivered / failed counts afterwards.
- Inbox: "any new comments?" gives you a triage by platform with drafted replies; each reply is previewed before it posts.
- Knowledge: "teach the bot that returns are accepted within 7 days" becomes a clean knowledge source after a preview that shows your storage usage.
- Arabic: replies and captions in clear Modern Standard Arabic with Western digits, and the brand name always written ناشر.
Claude still never publishes, sends or replies without your explicit go: every write goes through a preview first.
Updating the skill
Download the latest ZIP and upload it again the same way. If Claude then shows two skills named nashir, remove the older one. The version is listed in the changelog inside the ZIP and on this page.
Using it in Claude Code or the API
Skills do not sync between Claude.ai, Claude Code and the API. For Claude Code, unzip the file and place the nashir folder in ~/.claude/skills/. For the API, attach the same folder as a custom skill in your request.
