Help & FAQ

Answers to common questions about Nashir.

1.How do I activate my AI chatbot?

In the sidebar, click "AI Setup". A 5-step wizard walks you through: business info, AI voice, test sandbox, knowledge base upload, and channel activation (Facebook + Instagram + WhatsApp). The whole thing takes about 3 minutes. You need a Base or Plus plan (or be in your free trial) to activate Built-in — Free accounts can't activate it but can use marketplace templates on their own n8n.

2.Built-in vs Marketplace — which should I choose?

Built-in: we host the chatbot on our infrastructure. No n8n needed, no API keys, no maintenance. The easiest path for most people. Counts toward your monthly quota (500 responses on Base / 2,000 on Plus). Marketplace: you download the template and run it on your own n8n. Free to use, but you need n8n and an AI provider API key (OpenAI / OpenRouter / Gemini). Better if you have technical experience or want full control over the workflow. Recommendation for new users: Built-in.

3.How does Wayl payment work? Do you store my card?

We process payments through the Wayl gateway. Each subscription is a one-time payment good for 30 days — we don't store your card, we don't auto-charge. When renewal approaches, we email you 7 days before (heads up) and 3 days before (action) with a fresh payment link. All card security stays between you and your bank via Wayl — Nashir never sees card details.

4.What happens when my subscription expires?

If you don't renew on time: on the day your subscription ends, your bot is still running (grace period). Day +1 we send a reminder email. Day +4 a more urgent one. Day +8 a final notice ("your bot will be paused in 3 days"). Day +11 your subscription is automatically canceled, your account drops to the Free plan, and your bot stops. Your data (contacts, knowledge base, AI training) is all preserved. You can resubscribe at any moment and pick up with the same settings.

5.How do I add knowledge to my chatbot?

In step 4 of the AI Setup wizard (first time or anytime later): upload files (PDF, Word, Excel) or write manual text. All information is split into "chunks" and the bot learns from them. You can return to the knowledge base any time from the sidebar ("Knowledge base") to add or remove. Total size depends on your plan. Arabic and English are both supported.

6.What channels does Built-in chatbot support?

Built-in supports: Facebook (DM + comments), Instagram (DM + comments), WhatsApp Business. Each channel has its own card in step 5 of the wizard; you can activate or pause each independently. Telegram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn — these channels are for publishing only (not chatbot). For a Telegram bot, check the Marketplace.

7.Can I switch from Marketplace to Built-in?

Yes, you can. Two steps: (1) activate Built-in from the "AI Setup" wizard in the sidebar, (2) from the /chatbot page, delete the old marketplace template (this also removes the workflow on your n8n). Don't leave both active at once — if you activate Built-in before deleting the old one, your bot may reply twice to the same message. The wizard will warn you if it detects a conflict.

8.How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to /billing from the sidebar, click "Cancel subscription". Cancellation isn't immediate — your subscription continues until the end of the paid period, then automatically reverts to the Free plan. Your data stays preserved. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can reactivate from the same page. No cancellation fees.
