Why a post can fail before publishing (the readiness panel)

The Schedule a Post window checks each selected network BEFORE letting you schedule, so problems surface early instead of failing later. Common blocks: /scheduler

  • YouTube needs a video — it does not accept photo posts. Remove YouTube or add a video.
  • Too many photos for the network — for example Instagram carousels max out at 10 photos. Remove extras in that network tab.
  • Missing caption or media — some networks require at least one of them.
  • Account not connected or expired — the network tab will point you to Accounts.

When a check fails, the schedule button stays disabled for that reason — fix the listed item and it unlocks. If a post fails AFTER publishing started, see: My post did not publish.
