Add the Website Chat widget to your site

Website Chat puts your AI assistant on your own website — a chat bubble that answers visitors from the same knowledge base and the same bot brain as your WhatsApp. Visitor conversations land in the same inbox.

Website Chat is available on every plan. On the Pro plan you can also remove the "Powered by nashir.ai" badge from the widget.

  1. Open Accounts from the sidebar, find the Website Chat card, press Create widget, and pick the business it should answer for. You get one widget per business — the widget answers from that business's knowledge base.

  1. In the builder, set your brand color, upload your logo, and write a greeting (Arabic and English). A live preview updates as you type.
  2. ⚠️ Add your website's domain to "Allowed domains" and press Save — this is the one step people miss. The widget only works on the domains you list here; it stays hidden everywhere else. Enter the exact hostname with no https:// and no path — for example shop.example.com. Add every domain the widget should appear on, each on its own line.
  3. Copy the one-line snippet and paste it into your site just before the closing </body> tag. It looks like this:

<script async src="https://nashir.ai/widget.js" data-nashir-key="wc_..."></script>

  • Plain HTML: paste it before </body> in your page template.
  • WordPress: use a "Insert Headers and Footers" plugin (or your theme's Footer Code box) and paste it in the Footer/Body section.
  • Odoo: add an Embed Code / HTML building block to your site (or Website → Settings → Custom Code, in the body) and paste the snippet.
  1. Open your website in a normal browser tab. The install check in the builder turns green automatically the first time the widget loads from an allowed domain.

Not showing up?

  • The domain isn't in "Allowed domains." This is the number-one cause. The widget stays hidden on any domain you didn't list. Add it in the builder and Save, then reload your site. The nashir.ai preview always works even before you add a domain.
  • Your subscription has lapsed. If your plan expired, the widget is paused until you renew — renew your subscription and it starts serving again.
